Obligation to Employ Occupational Safety Specialists and Workplace Physicians for Workplaces with Fewer Than 50 Employees and Classified as Less Hazardous

Dear Business Partner, We would like to share with you our announcement regarding the obligation to employ occupational safety specialists and workplace physicians for workplaces with fewer than 50 employees and classified as less hazardous, in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331.

Summary: According to Law No. 6331, the obligation to employ occupational safety specialists and workplace physicians for workplaces with fewer than 50 employees and classified as less hazardous was postponed until 31.12.2024 pursuant to Law No. 7491 published in the Official Gazette No. 32413 dated December 28, 2023.

However, unless an additional legal regulation is introduced, the obligation to employ occupational safety specialists and workplace physicians for workplaces with fewer than 50 employees and classified as less hazardous will come into effect as of 01.01.2025.
